Equipment Violations Lead to Drug Arrest in Decatur


DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – A traffic stop led Decatur Police to make a drug arrest Saturday morning.


Officers arrested Frankie James Aldridge after they pulled him over for equipment violations on his car.


Decatur police charged Aldridge with unlawful possession of a controlled substance after they searched the car and found synthetic cannabis or ‘Spice’. Police reports show Aldridge had a suspended driver’s license and expired tag.


Aldridge is at the Morgan County Jail with a $3,500 bond.
