Police called after dealer delivers poor quality cannabis
A woman was arrested after she called cops to complain about the quality of the drugs she had just bought from her dealer.
Thirty seven year old Evelyn Hamilton, thought it appropriate to call the Police in Lufkin, West Texas to complain about the poor quality control of her still illegal marijuana and paid the price, when officers knocked on her door and charged her with a number of drugs related offences.
While cannabis is increasingly available and legal in a number of U.S. states, in Texas it is still decidedly illegal and the woman admitted the offence,
Sergeant David Casper of Lufkin Police Dept said that Hamilton pulled a small amount of the drug from her bra when asked if she had any of the substance on her person,
She told Police that she had spent $40 on “seeds and residue and felt compelled to call in the Police after she failed to get restitution from the drug dealer’s family, the Las Vegas Sun reports.
Other strange calls to the Police include a burglar in Shelby County, Ohio, who accidently phoned the police while on the job.
He had butt dialed the number and was caught on the job by officers hiding in a closet,
In the UK, one called to the emergency services reported a UFO in the sky only to call back and report that it was n fact the moon, Reader’s Digest reports.
