Police have uncovered a cannabis factory in a property where they also seized a pit bull type dog.
A 48-year-old man has been arrested after officers executed a warrant at an address in Collier Row on Saturday following reports of the animal being kept there.
During their search they uncovered a cannabis factory in a back room with 20 mature plants found growing in tents inside a locked room.
The man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and possessing a fighting dog, before being bailed until May.
Havering’s Wildlife officer, Anthony Kiddle is investigating and enquiries continue.
