LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — Working in conjunction with the Ethridge Police Department, Lawrence County Sheriff Jimmy Brown said his department was able to uncover an indoor marijuana growing operating.
Reports released today indicate the sheriff’s narcotic investigators, acting on information obtained from Ethridge police, found the growing operation at 410 Church Street, Ethridge, Tennessee.
Sheriff’s investigator Lt. Nathan Neese said this morning that officers contacted the property owner, who gave them consent to search his property, and the indoor growing operation was located in a 32-foot pull-behind camper trailer.
“It was parked right next to the house,” Neese said.
Authorities said the inside of the trailer had been modified to grow marijuana.
Neese said 30 marijuana plants, grow lights, plant nutrition, irrigation system, oxygen tanks, and other items used to manufacture marijuana were seized.
Neese said the property owner was not arrested but the case will be presented to an upcoming grand jury.
