Police found more than 100 cannabis plants at a home in the West Midlands after they were tipped off by a member of the public.
Officers swooped on the house in Merridale Crescent in the Merridale area of Wolverhampton where they found plants worth more than £40,000.
The 106 plants were discovered by officers in two rooms at the house, and were all seized by police while further investigations take place.
Large fans and hydroponic bulbs were also found along with the plants, which looked like they were closed to maturity.
Police say that one cannabis plant can be worth up to £400 a year to dealers.
None of the operators of the drug farm were found at the premises during the raid, which took place 5.40pm on Tuesday, so no arrests have yet been made.
Lee Page, a spokesman for West Mercia, said: “We were called to Merridale Crescent on Tuesday at 5.40pm.
“There were 106 plants inside, and all were seized.
“No arrests were made.”
It comes as police crackdown on drug factories with a series of similar raids in separate cases around the Midlands in recent times.
Earlier this month a cannabis factory worth more than £15,000 was discovered at a flat in Great Wyrley following a raid by police.
More than 20 mature plants and jars of drugs ready to sell were recovered by officers in Hall Lane.
It followed information from the public and a team of four officers discovered the plants in the main bedroom.
They found that rubber draught excluders had been used to disguise the smell from outside the property.
A sophisticated system involving fans, lighting and a water system had been put in place for the cultivation process.
Hundreds of plants were also discovered by police in Walsall – in two addresses inside 24 hours of each other.
They were found in Durham Road, Alumwell, and Dudley Street, Caldmore, on May 12 and 13.
