Waffle House Armed Robbery

Two suspects, possibly in their late teens, robbed a Waffle House Thursday morning in Cobb County. And police hours later were still searching for the men.

Shortly before 5:50 a.m., the gunmen entered the restaurant at 7350 Six Flags Drive near Austell, according to Cobb County police.

At least one of them produced his weapon and demanded the cash drawer, police spokesman Officer Mike Bowman said.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the perpetrators then fled the business in a dark colored Oldsmobile or Cadillac, Officer Bowman said. No one was injured in the robbery, he said.
Police said both suspects are slim-built black males, possibly in their late teens, who were armed with silver handguns.
One was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and a bandana covering his face, Officer Bowman said. The other was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and also had a bandana covering his face, he said.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Cobb County police at (770) 499-3945.
