POLICE have busted two tourists in possession of cannabis in one week in a southern Darling Downs town.
A 20-year-old man received drug diversion after he was caught with cannabis in the carpark of the Hotel Stanthorpe on Wednesday night.
About 9.20 Friday night, police patrolling the Stanthorpe CBD intercepted a Toyota sedan in Wallangarra Rd after it was observed driving dangerously.
A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of cannabis and the 21-year-old tourist was also found to be affected by liquor, recording a reading later of 0.093%.
He was charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs and driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
