West Milford police say marijuana found in home after 'lengthy investigation'

Police allege pot was found

Two men face multiple charges after police raided a township home and allegedly found marijuana there.

On April 1, the West Milford Police Department issued a release about a Feb. 20 incident in which the West Milford Township Detective Bureau reportedly conducted a search warrant on a Snake Den Road residence “following a lengthy investigation.”

“The search warrant resulted in the arrest of two adults and the seizure of 205 grams of marijuana, numerous items of narcotic paraphernalia and $1,245 in cash,” states the release.

Police arrested township residents Michael A. Walker, 45, and Joshua M. Walker, 18.

Michael Walker was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, endangering the welfare of children, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Michael Walker was also issued summonses for possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and possessing an expired driver’s license.

Joshua Walker was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bail was set at $20,000 apiece in West Milford Municipal Court for both men, and they were released on a bail bond.
