3-D cannabis printer: Is this the future, or is it April 1?

Ah, April’s Fools Day. Even the weed nerds love the trickster holiday.

Our colleagues over at Leafly shared this tasty nugget this morning about their newest development, a 3-D cannabis printer: “The Cannabot Cube2X is the first of its kind, a state-of-the-art molecular 3-D printer that uses carbon and groundbreaking technology to produce consistently superior cannabis straight out of your home office.”

Perhaps the technology for such a creation isn’t that far off — we do, after all, have vending machines for pot. But for now, all we need is a look at the calendar to see this is somebody’s unrealized pipe dream.
