More than 65 marijuana plants and packaged drugs were uncovered at a home south of the Lake Nona area in Osceola County, the Sheriff’s Office reported Monday.

Agents with the Osceola County Investigative Bureau searched the home on Rustic Drive near Boggy Creek Road on Friday after receiving a tip about drug activity at the residence.

Officers found 67 marijuana plants, ranging from 5 inches to 4 feet tall, and 30 pounds of marijuana inside two rooms at the house, the Sheriff’s Office said.

A man who lives at the home, 33-year-old Jose Farinas, was arrested on charges of trafficking in marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.

The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
