They raided the two separate properties in Dudley and Wednesfield where the illegal plants were found.
On Sunday, police responded to a call from a member of public regarding a house on Caroline Street in Kates Hill, Dudley.
Almost 270 plants were found across three rooms at the house, but there were no occupants there at the time.
Police also went to a house in Wolmer Road, Ashmore Park, Wolverhampton at 1.15pm and recovered 61 plants as well as growing equipment.
Inquires are still ongoing and police would appeal for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
