Cannabis Business School to Launch

As the cannnabis industry continues to grow, an opportunity for related educational programs presents itself. Mickey Martin, founder of The Northern Institute of Cannabis, in Natick, Mass. takes the lead by launching a curriculum designed to teach students everything they need to know about the cannabis business.

Martin, no stranger to the cannabis world, once owned an edible medical cannabis business before it was raided by the DEA. He now has a cannabis consulting business and is the author of Medical Marijuana 101.

The 12 week program covers topics from growing techniques to operational logisitics of running a dispensary, as well as the history, science and legalities surrounding the cannabis business. Applications will soon be accepted for classes starting this fall, however students will not qualify for federal financial aid for tuition since cannabis is considered illegal on the federal level.
