Cannabis Sativa, Inc. (OTCBB:CBDS)’s shares fell 6.31% to $9.50. The company on July 1 announced that on June 30, 2014, it consummated the acquisition of Kush, a Nevada corporation (“Kush”), and its consolidated subsidiary, following which Kush became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company (the “Merger”). In connection with the Merger, the Company named Gary Johnson, the former two-term Governor of New Mexico and the Libertarian party’s 2012 nominee for President, as its President and CEO, and Steve Kubby, the founder of Kush, the 1998 Libertarian Party of California candidate for Governor of California and an author on drug policy reform, as its Chairman. Messrs. Johnson and Kubby were also appointed as directors of the Company and each of them entered into employment agreements with the Company.

Crumbs Bake Shop, Inc. (OTCBB:CRMB)’s shares soared 1197.10% to $0.40. Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) on July 8 said it is investigating potential claims against Crumbs Bake Shop, Inc. concerning whether the Company has violated state and/or federal labor laws. On July 1, 2014, the Nasdaq Stock Market suspended trading of Crumbs stock due to the Company’s failure to meet certain listing requirements.  On July 7, 2014, Crumbs notified employees that it would be closing all of its stores by the end of the same business day.

Twitter, Inc. (NYSE:TWTR)’s shares declined 0.58% to $37.84. The company on July 7 has appointed Katie Stanton its new media chief, placing the former Google executive at the heart of its crucial relationships with Hollywood and the global media industry, a source with knowledge of the move said. Stanton, formerly head of international strategy, fills in for Chloe Sladden, who left the online messaging service as part of a recent management shake-up that also included the departure of former chief operating officer Ali Rowghani.
