23 kilos of cannabis found in luggage

Twenty-three kilos of cannabis has been found in the luggage of a Greek national travelling to Larnaca from Greece.
The discovery was made on Sunday evening after the man’s behaviour raised the officers’ suspicions and he was asked to hand over his luggage for a search. This turned up 22,897kg of the drug, the police said.
The 43-year-old man, who has not been named by the authorities, was arrested and is expected to be remanded in custody on Monday.
