A TAKE-AWAY worker from Derby hid a cannabis deal between the cheeks of his backside to try to evade it being found by police.
Kamran Yasin was one of four men stopped by patrolling officers at 2.30pm on April 4, a court heard.
Peter Bettany, prosecuting at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court, said a search revealed a £20 deal of cocaine in one of the 25-year-old’s socks.
Mr Bettany said: “Two further cannabis deals were found, one on his person and the other between the cheeks of his bottom.
“In interview he admitted he was using drugs on a regular basis.”
Yasin, of Molineux Street, Normanton, pleaded guilty to possession of class A and class B drugs.
Harry Lally, for Yasin, said his client has been with friends “on a 24-hour bender” and that the cocaine and cannabis found on him were what were left from the drug-taking session.
He said: “He has never been given the opportunity to address to his drug use.”
Magistrates handed Yasin a 12-month community order with a 12-month supervision and a six-month drug treatment requirement.
He must also undertake 40 hours’ unpaid work and pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
