JEFFERSON CITY, MO (October 20, 2014)—The Missouri Hemp Network is proud to announce its full endorsement of the following candidates. The Missouri Hemp Network is a non-partisan organization with the sole purpose of educating Missouri citizens about Industrial Hemp. The MHN has annual sponsors and event-specific sponsors. The MHN has tables and booths around Missouri passing out information packets and free samples through our sponsors. It is the MHN motto that: “Education is the key to the door of Industrial Hemp success”.
The public servant or candidate must do one of the following:
1. Sponsor or cosponsor a bill specifically designed to support Industrial Hemp farming in the USA or Missouri (Medicinal or agricultural).
2. State publicly in any form (radio interview, public forum, etc.) that they support Industrial Hemp farming and would sponsor, cosponsor, or vote for an Industrial Hemp bill if elected.
3. State on their website that they support Industrial Hemp.
4. State that they support broad based cannabis reform which includes Industrial Hemp farming in the USA or Missouri.
