The following items were taken from Palos Heights police reports:
A 28-year-old Matteson woman was stopped for driving with one headlight in the 11900 block of Harlem Avenue around 12:48 a.m. Oct. 15. She was charged with no valid driver’s license and one headlight and was scheduled to be in court on Nov. 17.
A 56-year-old Aurora woman was stopped for driving with high beams and for expired vehicle registration in the 12300 block of Harlem Avenue around 2:35 a.m. on Oct. 16. She was arrested for driving while license suspended, no valid registration and failure to dim headlights and was scheduled to be in court on Nov. 17.
A 29-year-old Worth man was arrested in the 7600 block of West College Drive around 5:29 p.m. on Oct. 16 for having a bond forfeiture warrant for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.
A 54-year-old Hickory Hills man was charged with having an expired plate and driving on a revoked license in the 12200 block of South Harlem Avenue around 8:19 p.m. on Oct. 16. He was scheduled to be in court on Nov. 17.
A 26-year-old Hammond, Ind., woman was stopped for driving 50 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 12000 block of South Harlem Avenue around 1:03 a.m. on Oct. 17. She was charged with speeding and having a suspended driver’s license. She was scheduled to be in court on Nov. 17.
A 23-year-old Alsip woman was stopped for having no license plate light in the 12100 block of Ridgeland Avenue around 3:41 a.m. on Oct. 18. Police said there was a strong odor of burnt cannabis, and two glass smoking pipes with burnt cannabis residue were found in the vehicle. She was given a local ordinance ticket for drug paraphernalia and was scheduled to be in court on Nov. 6.
A 21-year-old Worth man was stopped for allegedly driving 55 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 11900 block of Harlem Avenue around 4:37 a.m. on Oct. 18. Police said a search found all occupants to have marijuana pipes with residue. The driver was charged with speeding and given a local ordinance ticket for possession of drug equipment. An 18-year-old Worth man, 20-year-old Worth woman and 18-year-old Hometown woman were also given local ordinance tickets for possession of drug equipment. They were all scheduled to be in court on Nov. 17.
A 34-year-old Chicago woman was charged with driving on a suspended license and registration and not having insurance. She was stopped in the 6600 block of College Drive around 3:09 p.m. on Oct. 18. She was scheduled to be in court on Dec. 3.
A 25-year-old Palos Hills man was driving a vehicle involved in an accident in the 12000 block of Ridgeland Avenue around 1:07 p.m. on Oct. 18. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and scheduled to be in court Nov. 6.
