The following items were taken from Wilmette police reports:
Three bikes were stolen June 22 from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of Linden Street. Later, the homeowner discovered the unlocked house also had been entered, and a purse was stolen from the kitchen.
Five people were cited for open alcohol, and two of them were additionally cited for possession of cannabis, after a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Lake Avenue on June 23.
A Chicago man, 32, was charged with DUI after a traffic stop in the 100 block of Skokie Boulevard on June 22.
A man stole 38 containers of Vichy brand face creams and moisturizers totaling $1,848.92 from a Walgreens in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue on June 21.
Obscenities were scratched on the front panel of the play fort at Central Elementary School, 910 Central Ave., on June 19.
A women’s white Diamondback Sorrento mountain bike valued at $500 was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 2400 block of Old Glenview Road on June 18.
A woman in the 2400 block of Birchwood Avenue reported on June 18 that her personal information was compromised. The IRS told her she needed a police report to reconcile any issues.
A driver with Sun Taxi stated he picked up three men in their early 20s from a bar in Chicago on June 21, and that they fled the cab in the 700 block of Locust Road without paying a $51 fare.
A Skokie man, 39, was charged with DUI in the 1600 block of Lake Avenue on June 21.
A resident of the 3500 block of Walnut Avenue received a phone call from a person claiming to be from the IRS on June 19 asking for $3,486. It was verified to be fraud; no money was exchanged.
A Chicago man, 29, was charged with burglary on June 20.
A Wilmette man, 25, from the 600 block of Ridge Road was charged with felony possession of cannabis on June 19.
Jewelry, $900 and an iPhone were reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Laramie Avenue on June 18.
