UGA's Morris faces felony marijuana charge

Georgia men’s basketball forward Brandon Morris was arrested Sunday morning on one felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Morris has not been released on bond, which is set at $2,500, and remains in the Athens-Clarke County jail, according to its website. He was booked at 3:21 a.m.

Morris was a 25-game starter for the Bulldogs last season and averaged 8.6 points per game. He averaged 25.4 minutes per game during his sophomore campaign but missed several games at the beginning of the 2013 season for unspecified disciplinary reasons.
