Man arrested after cannabis plants seized in Rhyl

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the seizure of cannabis plants in Rhyl.


The incident occurred on Kinmel Street on Monday, July 28, and a 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.


The man, who has not been named, was taken to Rhyl Police Station for questioning and was released on bail pending further enquiries.


Sergeant Mark Jones said: “As a result of an officer conducting routine enquiries this morning, a small number of cannabis plants were discovered and subsequently, a local man was arrested.


“Anyone with information regarding the activity in Kinmel Street, Rhyl, or indeed any illegal drugs use to contact North Wales Police on 101 or alternatively via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
