A 45-year-old man faces felony charges for growing thousands of pounds of marijuana without a license in three Denver warehouses.
The Denver District Attorney’s Office has charged Todd Nelson with three counts of possession of more than 50 pounds of pot with intent to sell, marijuana cultivation, processing or manufacturing the weed and tax evasion, according to the DA’s office.
Investigators recovered 2,340 pounds of dried marijuana from the warehouses. Commercial growers are required by the state to have a license
Nelson, who is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, is free on $50,000 bond.
Police have busted other illegal grow houses recently, as well.
The investigation is continuing and more arrests and charges are possible.
