A 44-YEAR-OLD Warrnambool man has been charged with trafficking cannabis after a random vehicle intercept by police on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

A 44-YEAR-OLD Warrnambool man has been charged with trafficking cannabis after a random vehicle intercept by police on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.
A Mortlake police officer driving to Warrnambool pulled over the driver along the Hopkins Highway near the intersection with Wagoom Road about 5.30pm and found one pound of cannabis in the car.
The man has been charged with trafficking and possessing cannabis and bailed to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on December 8.
